There are 2 different ways to enter Payments Received into your Blink account.


1. Enter Payment from the Invoice


Find the invoice that your payment relates to and open the invoice. 


Click on the Enter Payment button and a window will open up, enter the required details and click the Create Payment button. The payment has been recorded against the invoice and the balance owing and invoice status will be updated to reflect this.

Note, you can view payments on the invoice by clicking the Payment Received tab. All payments are listed and the total of payments and the balance owing on the invoice is listed underneath. 


2. Enter New Payment from the Top Menu 


Click Payments > Enter Payments from the top menu bar. A new tab will open displaying all invoices that have a balance owing.

Find the invoice that you wish to apply a payment against. You can page through the list or search by entering either a client name or an invoice number in the search panel and clicking Search. When you have found the invoice then click it to select it and either click the Enter Payment button or right click and select Enter Payment and the Enter Payment window will open. Now enter the required details and click the Save Payment button. The payment has been recorded, you can now close the tab.
