Please ensure you have installed the plugin according to the instructions in the article: How to: Install The Plugin


To upload an email from your inbox:

Select the email you want to archive by clicking on it.


Click the "Upload to Blink" button on the HatchIT toolbar, a window will pop up as below;



From the drop down fields select the Contact, Enquiry or Client you want to archive the email against. Note you can select two or more items e.g. a Contact AND a Client.


Click the "Upload Message to Blink" button, when complete you will get a confirmation window.


If your Contact, Enquiry or Client is not listed in the drop-down window, click the "sync" link to synchronise the drop down items with your Blink account.


Note: The first time you use the add-in you must do a manual sync by clicking the "sync" link in the pop-up. Thereafter the sync is set automatically every 24 hours. If you add more Contacts, Enquiries or Clients to your Blink account you can do a manual sync at any time by clicking the sync link.


To upload an email from the email reading page:


Click on the "Upload Message to Blink" button in the open email. A pop window will appear and you follow the same steps as above, simply selecting the Contact, Enquiry or Client you want to archive the email against.


To Send an email and upload to the Blink at the same time:


Type your email as usual. Instead of clicking Send click the "Upload to Blink and Send" button. A pop window will appear and you follow the same steps as above, simply selecting the Contact, Enquiry or Client you want to archive the email against.
